A leading ridesharing company is seeking an early-career engineer to join its Livery and Taxi Fleets team in Mexico. This role involves integrating external partners and influencing driver behavior for high-quality rides. Candidates should have experience in engineering, object-oriented programming, and distributed systems. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work three days a week. Additional flexibility to work remotely for four weeks per year is offered. Passion for collaboration and ownership of projects is essential.

The Livery and Taxi Fleets team builds rich and creative features that set the standard for the ride sharing industry. We are looking for a motivated early-career individual to join us integrating external partners into the wider Lyft ecosystem and influencing driver behavior to facilitate highest-quality rides while maintaining the flexible work model for drivers. Communication and ownership are key qualities for this role; this person should be driven to track a project to successful completion and beyond, taking initiative to work with other teams and functions to ensure the code they write reaches users and drives impact. You'll collaborate with engineering, product, data science, analytics, and operations on programs that empower us to iterate quickly, delighting our passengers and drivers.

• Ayudar a establecer una hoja de ruta y una arquitectura basadas en la tecnología y la comprensión de las necesidades del cliente.
• Escribir código bien elaborado, probado, legible y fácil de mantener.
• Participar en revisiones de código para garantizar su calidad y difundir conocimientos.
• Compartir conocimientos mediante charlas informales, charlas técnicas y la promoción de las mejores prácticas tecnológicas y de ingeniería adecuadas.
• Ayudar a dirigir grandes proyectos desde la idea hasta su ejecución satisfactoria.
• Desbloquear, apoyar y comunicarse con los socios internos para lograr resultados.

Experiencia

• Experiencia en el sector de la ingeniería.
• Experiencia en programación orientada a objetos.
• Experiencia en sistemas distribuidos.
• Experiencia trabajando con bases de datos, relacionales o NoSQL.
• Documentación.

Lyft valora enormemente que los empleados trabajen en la oficina para fomentar un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo y una cultura empresarial. Este puesto se realizará en la oficina con un horario híbrido tras el establecimiento de una oficina de Lyft en la Ciudad de México. Se espera que los miembros del equipo trabajen en la oficina tres días a la semana : lunes, miércoles y jueves. Lyft considera que trabajar en la oficina al menos tres días a la semana es una función esencial de este puesto híbrido. Además, los puestos híbridos ofrecen la flexibilidad de trabajar desde cualquier lugar hasta cuatro semanas al año. #
