Programming.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Remote) to join a high-impact engineering team. You will design, build, and continuously improve distributed systems and business-critical applications using C#/.NET, Blazor, ASP.NET Core, and .NET MAUI.

Remote role based in Mexico with exposure to Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices. Strong leadership and communication skills are highly valued.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.
• Proven experience with production-grade full stack apps and backend services.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and event-driven design.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and inter-service communication.
• Familiarity with Azure, CI/CD, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience with Blazor, ASP.NET Core, and .NET MAUI.

We're Hiring: Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team and help design, build, and continuously improve business-critical applications and distributed systems.

Role: Senior Software Engineer (.Net/C#)

Location: Remote (Mexico)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Seven (7) or more years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET.
• Proven experience building, enhancing, and supporting production-grade full stack applications and backend services.
• Strong experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, message-based or event-driven design, and asynchronous workflow patterns.
• Experience implementing asynchronous workflows and inter-service communication using technologies such as NServiceBus, service buses, queues, or event-driven platforms.
• Experience designing and supporting APIs, microservices, background services, system-to-system integrations, service contracts, and message contracts.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, caching, and data performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud-hosted environments, managed databases, application hosting, CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience building modern web and cross-platform applications using Blazor, ASP.NET Core, and .NET MAUI.
• Experience with mobile application deployment and release processes for the Apple App Store and Google Play is a plus.
• Experience with component-based UI development, dependency injection, API integration, authentication and authorization, reusable UI patterns, and responsive application design.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile development methodologies, and production support practices.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including service boundaries, consistency tradeoffs, failure modes, message contracts, asynchronous communication patterns, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience with NServiceBus in production environments, including sagas, durable workflows, background processing, retries, error queues, and operational recovery, is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead technical conversations effectively across teams and translate engineering considerations into business context.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, sound judgment, ownership mindset, and ability to operate effectively in a lean team where engineers are expected to be self-directed, versatile, and highly accountable.
• Comfortable moving between strategic architecture discussions and hands-on implementation, debugging, testing, and production support.
• High degree of adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to learn new frameworks, tools, business domains, and emerging technologies.
• Strong awareness of the evolving role of AI in software engineering, with eagerness to adopt useful tools, experiment responsibly, and continuously improve individual and team effectiveness without sacrificing rigor, security, or engineering discipline.
