Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company actively supporting data center construction in Querétaro. The Site Procurement Manager will deliver on-site procurement and commercial support across multiple projects, working closely with client teams, GCs, suppliers, and cost managers to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, change orders, and procurement tracking, with focus on adherence to policies and contract requirements.

• Advanced English required for international clients.
• Bachelor's degree in cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or construction-related field.
• On-site availability in Querétaro for multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead procurement activities supporting data center construction and commissioning.
• Manage supplier relationships, commercial matters, and contract administration.
• Support change order review, negotiation, execution, and tracking.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and project teams to resolve procurement and delivery issues.
• Track equipment procurement, manufacturing status, logistics and delivery milestones.
• Provide weekly procurement, manufacturing, logistics and delivery status reports with risks and mitigations.
• Monitor supplier performance, schedule adherence and commercial risks.
• Support project forecasting, budgeting, governance and closeout activities.

Job Description

The Site Procurement Manager will provide on-site procurement and commercial support for multiple projects. The selected resource will work closely with the client´s project teams, General Contractors (GCs), suppliers, commissioning teams, cost managers, and key project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead procurement activities supporting data center construction and commissioning.
• Manage supplier relationships, commercial matters, and contract administration.
• Support change order review, negotiation, execution, and tracking.
• Coordinate closely with General Contractors and project teams to resolve procurement and delivery issues.
• Track equipment procurement activities, manufacturing status, logistics, and delivery milestones.
• Conduct weekly delivery review meetings with suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Provide weekly procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and delivery status reports, highlighting risks, mitigation plans, and recovery actions.
• Monitor supplier performance, schedule adherence, and commercial risks.
• Support project forecasting, budgeting, governance, and closeout activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contract requirements.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with strong experience in:

• Advanced level of English required, as the candidate will be working with international Clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Availability to work on-site in Querétaro supporting multiple projects (required).
• Equipment CAPEX procurement within large multinational organizations.
• Data center, mission-critical, industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale construction projects.
• Commercial and contract management.
• Change order negotiation and administration.
• Supplier performance management and stakeholder engagement.
• Procurement support throughout project execution, from sourcing through commissioning and project closeout.
• Managing multiple suppliers and capital projects simultaneously.
• Working directly with General Contractors, construction teams, and project delivery organizations.
• Manufacturing, logistics, delivery tracking, and supply chain risk management.
