Valeo is seeking a Logistics Eng & Transport Director/Manager in Ciudad Juárez to oversee packaging programs, coordinate with suppliers, and lead the packaging lifecycle from specifications through to serial production and data management.

The role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to safety and environmental standards, and driving packaging standardisation and cost efficiency within the supply chain.

Formación

Support PTM for P1 FG specific packagings and ensure P10/P0

• collect and analyse the customer requirements, the project inputs and define clear and accurate specifications
• is a key actor in the packaging RFQ, participate actively in the Purchasing process (Presoco and Soco).
• challenge the supplier relation during the design phase to get innovative solutions
• build a clear cost and technical breakdown of supplier proposals and ensure the respect of the budget
• ensure with quality/process PTMs and operational teams (safety, quality, production, process... ) that packaging satisfies all constraints.
• calculate the packaging loop
• launch POs on time to respect the project planning
• update and validate packaging data in the Customer portals

Support the definition of Component and WIP packagings

• support the SC PTM and validate requirements to component suppliers (SVRF)
• validate Packaging Validation forms with the SC PTM. Challenge in particular all specifics (box, specific dunnage...)
• ensure the good application of the Group Inbound Packaging Requirements
• validate WIP packaging with process/production teams

Manage and optimise serial life

• require from suppliers an annual stock take of Valeo packaging loops. Compare to the real packaging loop need and recomplete if necessary
• perform analysis to implement returnable packaging on inbound
• perform annual stock takes for customer packaging. Support logistics teams in discrepancies analysis
• push customers to take back their broken containers, and at end of serial life, all remaining containers
• participate actively to the productivity action plan, enhancing teamwork
• Perform analysis with T&W Manager of the Inbound filling rate and set up actions plan in case of packaging issues

Capitalise, standardise and comply with safety and environment regulation.

• maintain the packaging database, gathering data for all Valeo property packagings
• ensure that Packaging Instructions are properly set-up in the SC system and comply with V5000 requirements
• ensure the compliance with safety environment local and national regulations
• push to packaging standardisation, capitalise and develop a strong partnership with packaging suppliers
