We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager / Site Manager to lead the successful launch and ongoing management of manufacturing operations in Mexico. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth integration of all operational areas: Human Resources, Customs, Logistics, Environmental Health & Safety and others.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
- Develop and maintain a program plan that outlines the scope, objectives, and timelines of each project within the program.
- Monitor project performance, identify potential issues or risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress, risks, and issues.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of the program, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Plan, direct, and control daily site operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, efficiency, cost, safety, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, policies, and safety, environmental, and labor regulations.
- Supervise the administration of personnel in coordination with the HR department.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies focused on operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Manage the site operational budget and guarantee efficient use of resources.
- Lead programs for employee development, recognition, and retention.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality and operational standards.
- Monitor and report operational results through key performance indicators (KPIs) and management reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, engineering, or a related field, master's degree is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (Chinese)
- At least 5 years of experience in program management, project management and customer service exposure.
- Experience in manufacturing startups.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
