Cognizant in Mexico is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Specialist to design and implement enterprise-grade Now Platform solutions, align with security and compliance, and drive automation across infrastructure services.

You will collaborate with global teams in a hybrid work model, deliver scalable architectures, and mentor peers while advancing platform upgrades and governance.

Formación

• Twelve to fifteen years of infrastructure architecture experience in large-scale enterprises.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Now Platform including configuration of core modules and development of custom applications.
• Experience with API-based integration and data exchange between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• Experience in hybrid work environments and agile delivery is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Design complex ServiceNow Now Platform infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into platform architectures that improve reliability and efficiency.
• Develop reusable components and automate workflows in ServiceNow.
• Optimize modules to enhance incident response, change management, and asset tracking.
• Implement integration patterns between ServiceNow and on-premise or cloud systems via APIs.
• Establish design standards and patterns for maintainability and onboarding of new services.
• Review processes and introduce automation and self-service via ServiceNow apps and catalog items.
• Collaborate with security and compliance to embed governance and audit trails into workflows.
• Monitor performance and tune configurations to meet response time and availability targets.
• Guide project teams on best practices for ServiceNow development lifecycle.
• Prepare clear technical documentation for architectures, data models, integrations and runbooks.
• Coordinate platform upgrades and feature adoptions to bring incremental value.
• Drive continuous improvement using analytics and user feedback.

Serve as an Senior Technical Consultant specializing in ServiceNow Now Platform and application development designing secure scalable and resilient enterprise workflows. Collaborate with cross functional teams to modernize infrastructure services automate processes and improve service reliability in a hybrid work model while ensuring alignment with business strategy and compliance needs.

Responsibilities

• Design complex ServiceNow Now Platform based infrastructure solutions that align with enterprise standards and long term business objectives while ensuring scalability and resilience for critical services.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to translate infrastructure and service requirements into ServiceNow platform architectures that improve reliability observability and operational efficiency.
• Develop reusable application components using ServiceNow application development practices to automate workflows reduce manual tasks and streamline infrastructure operations for various business units.
• Optimize configuration of ServiceNow modules related to infrastructure services to enhance incident response change management and asset tracking while maintaining high data quality.
• Implement robust integration patterns between ServiceNow and on premise or cloud based systems using APIs to enable near real time data exchange and consistent service views.
• Establish infrastructure design standards and patterns on ServiceNow Now Platform to ensure consistent implementations improved maintainability and easier onboarding of new services.
• Review existing infrastructure processes and identify opportunities to introduce automation and self service capabilities through custom ServiceNow applications and catalog items.
• Collaborate with security and compliance personnel to embed governance controls audit trails and policy checks into ServiceNow based infrastructure workflows.
• Monitor performance of ServiceNow infrastructure solutions and tune configurations queries and data models to meet response time and availability targets.
• Guide project teams on best practices for ServiceNow development lifecycle including requirement refinement configuration testing and deployment to reduce defects and rework.
• Prepare clear technical documentation for architectures data models integrations and operational runbooks so that support teams can manage platforms effectively.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan ServiceNow platform upgrades and feature adoptions that bring incremental value to infrastructure and operations functions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using analytics and feedback from users to refine ServiceNow based solutions and enhance overall service experience.

Qualifications

• Require a degree in engineering computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Require twelve to fifteen years of experience in infrastructure architecture roles with a strong focus on large scale enterprise implementations.
• Require advanced hands on expertise in ServiceNow Now Platform including configuration of core modules scripting and development of custom applications.
• Require strong experience in application development practices such as modular design secure coding testing strategies and deployment automation on ServiceNow.
• Require proven experience designing integration solutions using APIs web services and data exchange mechanisms between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Require strong understanding of infrastructure domains such as compute storage network and cloud services and how these map into ServiceNow data models and workflows.
• Nice to have experience working in hybrid work environments collaborating with globally distributed teams using agile or iterative delivery approaches.
• Nice to have exposure to observability tools configuration management databases and asset management practices integrated with ServiceNow.
• Nice to have experience collaborating with security and risk teams to implement compliant workflows access controls and audit ready configurations in ServiceNow.
• Nice to have experience mentoring peers on ServiceNow architecture patterns coding standards and platform capabilities to uplift overall team proficiency.
• Nice to have familiarity with IT service management frameworks and enterprise architecture practices enabling better alignment between platform solutions and organizational strategy.

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
