A leading manufacturing company in Mexicali seeks a Sr. Tooling Design Engineer to focus on engineering documentation development and tooling design. This position requires 5+ years of experience and strong skills in CAD, GD&T, and Lean Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will support tool makers and collaborate with engineering for manufacturing improvements, while also demonstrating hands-on fabrication abilities.

Formación

• 5+ years’ experience in tooling design engineering.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge required.
• High knowledge of GD&T essential.

Responsabilidades

• Design development for requirements of the tool room.
• Support on machining process for tool makers.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering on tooling development.

Conocimientos

Fluent conversational English >80%

Design For Manufacturing skills

Strong analytical skills

Ability to manage multiple projects

Mechanical aptitude

High experience using 3D CAD software

Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Educación

Bachelor’s Engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial)
