Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to optimize inventory balance across the network, coordinating planning and purchasing activities for assigned customer portfolios.

The role requires 5+ years in purchasing or planning (or 3+ with a Master’s) and strong Excel/ERP skills, with APICS preferred. Expect cross-functional collaboration and a focus on cost reductions and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years in purchasing or planning, or 3+ years with a Master's.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration with customers/suppliers.
• Ability to support a global 24/7 operation and make independent judgments.

Responsibilities

• Works with customers to understand planning systems and processes.
• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize costs.
• Owns ERP parameters driving component and assembly planning.
• Monitors inventory levels and reports excess/obsolete stock; drives disposition.
• Manages MRP and ensures alignment of demand, production schedule, and procurement.
• Collaborates with suppliers on AVL choices and procurement to reduce costs.
