Vertiv Group in Monterrey, Mexico, seeks a Supplier Quality Management Sr Engineer (NPDI) to drive supplier quality through PPAP, FAI, and NPDI processes. You will lead root-cause analysis, 8D reports, and supplier audits to ensure QMS effectiveness.

The role requires 1–3 years in supplier quality, experience with problem-solving tools, and collaboration with engineering and operations to lower risk and costs while maintaining quality.

Formación

• 1–3 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer role or related field.
• Experience with problem solving tools (i.e. 8-D, 5 Whys, 7 Ways, DOE, eCAR, Fishbone, Pareto, Six Sigma, First Piece, PPAP).
• Background in applying statistical tools for process and product development and control (i.e. Gage R&R, Process Capability, PFMEA, SPC).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and resolve supplier process control performance issues by developing robust quality control plans and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive permanent resolution of supplier issues reported by Vertiv plants and by Customers.
• Initiate and lead supplier performance improvement for NPDI, FAI and PPAP as well as Mass Production.
• Lead and own PPAP requirements associated with a change.
• Lead problem definition and reactive problem solving through containment and corrective action with SCAR.
• Develop 8D and supplier reports; communicate outcomes to Leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Perform supplier on-site audits to monitor QMS compliance and effectiveness.
• Identify areas for cost reduction across assigned supplier base.
