Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Mexico to drive supplier excellence, guide quality improvements, and support PPAP and audits across key suppliers. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams and manufacturing plants to improve product quality, warranty metrics, and on‑site supplier engagements.

The role requires 3–6 years in quality and supplier quality, strong problem-solving and project management skills, and fluency in English for business

Formación

• Experience in quality and supplier quality disciplines with 3-6 years in quality, manufacturing, and engineering using APQP, FMEA, Control plans, PPAP, supplier audits.
• Strong organization, interpersonal and problem‑solving / 8D / Look Across skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to communicate with all levels and with external customers and suppliers.
• English communication in business environments required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site guidance and coaching to key suppliers and conduct supplier quality audits.

About the role

The Quality Engineer professional works as an individual contributor to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on area of responsibility. Manages Quality Engineering processes and/or projects, and uses experience and knowledge to influence the development, modification, application, and maintenance, or quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving Carrier Supplier Excellence performance for assigned suppliers.
• Supplier manufacturing quality – drive implementation of product certification (Pro-Cert) and Quality improvements at key Carrier suppliers
• Provide on‑site guidance and coaching to key suppliers to drive improvements in performance and championing onsite Supplier Quality Audits and Process Audits
• Design for manufacturing improvements on future products
• Support the Carrier manufacturing plants in improving PPAP completion/readiness.
• Work with suppliers to improve warranty
• Act as a coach/facilitator for supplier quality improvement events and teaching quality tools
• Attain business objectives for quality, warranty spend, SPPM, FPY and safety
• Approximately 30% travel will be required (as needed)
• Serving as quality expert in support of quality/compliance investigations, as required with the supplier base.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are strong communicators who can effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, customers, and leaders at all levels of the organization. If this is you, get in touch.

• Experience in quality and supplier quality disciplines with 3-6 years of direct work experience in quality, manufacturing, and engineering applying the quality tools including APQP, FMEA, Control plans, PPAP, Supplier Audits (similar to CQS, ISO/IATF), SPC, MSA, DoE and RRCA tools to drive zero defect quality
• Strong organization, interpersonal and problem‑solving / 8D / Look Across skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)
• Excellent project management skills and comfortable communicating at all levels of management and with external customers and suppliers
• Bachelors degree
• Ability to communicate effectively in English in a business environment

• Six Sigma black belt
