Stryker Corporation is hiring a Senior Sourcing Manager, Best Cost Location, to identify, qualify, and manage global suppliers across metals, electronics, plastics, packaging, and sterilization. You will lead evaluations, negotiations, and ongoing supplier performance management to support cost optimization while ensuring quality and compliance.
The role requires 10+ years in sourcing, strong English, and willingness to travel internationally.

At Stryker, the Senior Sourcing Manager, Best Cost Location (BCL) plays a key role in identifying, qualifying, and managing global suppliers in strategic sourcing regions. This position focuses on supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, and long-term supplier management to support cost optimization while maintaining quality, compliance, and supply continuity across multiple categories, including metals, electronics, plastics, packaging, and sterilization. Identify and evaluate suppliers in best cost regions, including Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Central and Latin America, through market research, industry networks, site visits, and benchmarking activities. Lead supplier qualification processes, including capability assessments, financial reviews, quality audits, and compliance evaluations. Manage structured sourcing events, including requests for information, quotations, and proposals, using standardized evaluation criteria. Conduct supplier cost analyses and total cost of ownership assessments to quantify savings opportunities and support sourcing decisions. Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, payment terms, contractual protections, and long-term supply agreements. Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards measuring cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and risk metrics. Partner with quality, engineering, legal, finance, logistics, and sourcing teams to align supplier strategies with business objectives and product requirements. Monitor supplier performance and supply chain risks, implementing mitigation plans and continuous improvement initiatives to support supply continuity and cost reduction objectives.
Required Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management with exposure to international suppliers. Experience leading supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and supplier qualification activities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and procurement or sourcing systems. Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance fundamentals. Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. Ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
Experience working within a regulated industry. Master's degree in Business Administration or related field, or a professional certification in procurement or supply chain management. Experience managing suppliers in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, or Central and Latin America. Proficiency in a second language relevant to global sourcing regions.

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.
Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.
Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.
Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
