Equals True is a remote-first, inclusive tech workplace hiring across the Americas. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to influence technical direction and product roadmap, partnering with product managers to deliver value through scalable, multi-service systems.

You’ll own architecture, work with React, Rails, and Docker, and ship frequently with robust documentation, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve patient‑facing apps.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development within robust, highly available, multi-service ecosystems.
• Production experience with our core stack: Ruby on Rails (distributed architecture), React, and Docker.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL to build flexible and scalable data models.
• Hands-on expertise building on core AWS services (ECS, RDS, S3, and more).
• Experience leading through code reviews and system design sessions.
• Track record of designing simple, supportable software through monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Have a direct impact on the technical direction and product roadmap of the company.
• Partner with your product manager to execute value delivery through repeatable and iterative software development lifecycles.
• Work with frontend and mobile engineers to build technical roadmaps for the shared codebase powering our mobile and web patient applications.
• Own the architecture and code you develop and release it frequently into production.
• Spend that extra 10% on every project to deliver great documentation alongside the functionality itself.
• Work with a cross-functional team from a wide variety of backgrounds to solve problems that directly impact patients.
