Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong backend expertise in C# and .NET, complemented by experience building modern web applications using Angular and/or React to power warehouse automation systems.

You will design and implement scalable APIs, develop maintainable frontends, and contribute to architectural decisions across the stack. Exposure to warehouse logistics and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience designing REST APIs and modern web frontends.
• Knowledge of DI/IoC, async programming, and SQL with EF/LINQ.

Responsibilities

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and support scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Develop Angular and/or React user interfaces and dashboards that provide real-time operational insights.
• Apply Dependency Injection and modern software design principles to create modular, testable, and maintainable systems.
• Develop and optimize data access layers using LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL databases.
• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design solutions that safely handle concurrent operations and asynchronous processing.
• Implement software engineering best practices, including automated testing, CI/CD, source control, and code quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, authorization, and API versioning.
• Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and inversion of control principles.
• Experience developing asynchronous and concurrent applications using async/await.
• Understanding thread safety, race conditions, deadlocks, and concurrency patterns.
• Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Strong understanding of IEnumerable, IQueryable, deferred execution, and query performance optimization.
• Experience with Angular and/or React.
• Experience implementing communication between components and modules.
• Familiarity with Angular Pipes and data transformation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications Considered To Be a Plus

• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures.
