Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, test, and maintain cloud-based solutions behind Hydrawise. You will lead feature development, troubleshoot issues, and monitor system performance while collaborating with global teams across Product, Firmware, Technical Support, and Development.

The role requires 7+ years of software development experience, strong Python and AWS skills, and experience with Kubernetes, Lambda, and IoT.

Hydrawise manages watering for millions of gardens and landscapes across more than 130 countries, processing approximately 4 billion events every month.

In this role, you will develop, test, and maintain software applications; lead feature development; troubleshoot application issues; monitor system performance; and collaborate with global Product, Firmware, Technical Support, and Development teams.

What we’re looking for:
