Britegenix is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead automation on a cloud-native, serverless AWS platform. You will design and implement scalable automation across backend services, APIs, and frontend tests (Cypress), and integrate quality gates into CI/CD.

You will mentor engineers and drive a culture of quality and reliability. Candidate brings Advanced English, strong TS/JS/Node.js skills, hands-on AWS experience, and a track record building automation

Formación

• Advanced English required.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js.
• Proven experience building automation frameworks.
• Deep experience testing REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, IAM).
• Experience with Cypress for frontend automation.
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience.

Responsabilidades

• Redesign and enforce a scalable test strategy aligned with a healthy test pyramid.
• Build robust API and integration automation frameworks.
• Implement contract testing across microservices.
• Validate serverless workflows (Lambda, event-driven flows, IAM, retries, DLQs).
• Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Reduce regression time and flaky test rates.
• Mentor engineers and drive shared ownership of quality.

Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Cloud-Native | Serverless | AWS

Role Summary

We are hiring a Senior SDET to lead and actively execute our quality strategy within a cloud-native, serverless microservices platform on AWS — partnering closely with engineers while building and implementing scalable automation solutions hands-on.

This is not a traditional QA role. You will design, build, and evolve an automation-first testing strategy across backend services, event-driven integrations, APIs, frontend (Cypress), and CI/CD pipelines — working closely with engineering teams to reduce production defects, improve integration reliability, and modernize our overall quality approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign and enforce a scalable test strategy aligned with a healthy test pyramid
