Job summary

KION Group IT is seeking a Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our Monterrey-based Sales Logistics Service team. You will act as a functional SME, supporting and improving warehouse and shipping processes with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

Work with global business and IT teams to design scalable solutions, support implementations and rollouts, and provide L2/L3 support in productive SAP environments. Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM functional consulting experience.
• Experience owning or leading at least two full-cycle SAP implementations or rollouts.
• Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound processes, warehouse movements, and shipping.

Senior SAP EWM Consultant | Monterrey, Mexico

Join KION Group IT and become part of a global team transforming warehouse and sales logistics processes through SAP.

We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join our Sales Logistics Service team. In this role, you will act as a key SAP EWM functional subject-matter expert, supporting and improving warehouse and shipping processes with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.

You will work closely with global business and IT teams to design scalable solutions, support implementations and rollouts, troubleshoot complex production issues, and continuously improve our SAP logistics landscape.

What You Will Do

• Analyze business and functional requirements, identify gaps against SAP standard, and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM solutions for warehouse and sales-shipping processes.
• Map and optimize end-to-end processes including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and shipping.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, specifications, test scenarios, and implementation plans.
• Advise internal business customers and key users on SAP EWM capabilities, process improvements, and solution alternatives.
• Participate throughout the full project lifecycle: discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, rollout, hypercare, and handover to operations.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support, including root-cause analysis and production stabilization.
• Collaborate with SAP TM, SD, MM, LE, ABAP, integration, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with global architecture, documentation, security, and service-management standards.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM functional consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Experience owning or playing a key role in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations, rollouts, or major deployment workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse and shipping processes, including:
• Inbound and outbound processes
• Internal warehouse movements
• Warehouse structure
• Handling Units
• RF processes
• Physical inventory
• Warehouse-related master data
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
• Experience providing L2/L3 application support in productive SAP environments.
• Experience integrating EWM with SAP SD, MM, and Logistics Execution.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of SAP EWM topics while collaborating within a global team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
