Kraken is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Payward Services to design and scale Rust services powering trading, payments, and crypto experiences with reliability and performance at scale.

You will collaborate across teams, own end-to-end components from OS to application, mentor peers, and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture in a globally distributed environment.

Formación

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Rust async/network services experience.
• Security-first design mindset.
• Strong debugging across OS, network and application.
• Experience with RPC, Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product teams.
• End-to-end ownership of systems and libraries.
• Mentorship and shaping technical culture.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement robust Rust services powering trading, payments, and crypto with high reliability.
• Write reusable, testable, efficient code that scales across teams for revenue-critical systems.
• Collaborate on large-scale distributed architecture for low-latency solutions.
• Work with hundreds of Rust engineers to foster a high-performance engineering culture.
