Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET with over 8 years of extensive experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and manual testing across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Define and implement test processes, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure product quality.
• Lead test planning, execution, and defect management activities.
• Review automation frameworks improvements for scalability and efficiency.
• Support both manual and automation testing when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience in designing test processes and strategies.
• Ability to act as a Lead or play a senior role within a QA team.
• Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g. Postman, RestAssured).
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or DevOps processes.
