GlobalLogic in Mexico is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain core software agents running on customer endpoints. The role blends backend development with hands-on investigation, bug fixing, and feature work to enable secure data transfer between endpoints and a cloud platform.

You'll work with Python, APIs, and cloud services, implementing robust persistence, self-healing, and tests, while collaborating with QA and DevOps to ensure operational stability across

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in backend or systems software development.
• Strong Python expertise, including concurrency and low-level system calls.
• Experience with endpoint applications and cloud API integration.
• Familiarity with networking protocols, HTTPS/TLS/SSH, and production debugging.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test high-performance backend integrations using Python.
• Investigate logs, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Build stable, secure, and resource-efficient software agents.
• Implement persistence and self-healing mechanisms on customer endpoints.
• Integrate endpoint software with cloud services through APIs and message queues.
• Ensure reliable and secure data transfer between endpoints and the cloud platform.
• Create comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with QA and DevOps teams.
