Danone Mexico is seeking a Senior Product Owner – Supporting Functions to define and drive the product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and value realization for enterprise tools across FP&A, DBS, HR, and General Services. The role partners with business leaders, IT and Data teams to translate needs into scalable digital solutions that boost efficiency, data quality, and user experience, while balancing regional and global stakeholders.

Fluent English is required; Spanish preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, HR, Technology, Data, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or related roles.
• Experience managing products or platforms supporting Finance, HR, Shared Services, Corporate Functions, or other enterprise processes.
• Proven experience in agile environments, backlog management, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery.

Short Intro and About the Job

The Senior Product Owner – Supporting Functions is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and value realization for a portfolio of products supporting key enterprise functions, including FP&A, Danone Business Services (DBS), Human Resources (HR), and General Services (GS).

Partnering closely with business leaders, IT & Data teams, and external providers, this role translates business needs into scalable digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, process standardization, data quality, employee experience, and business performance.

As the strategic owner of a medium-to-high complexity product domain, the Senior Product Owner balances competing priorities, manages cross-functional dependencies, and ensures the successful delivery and adoption of products that drive measurable business value. The role requires strong stakeholder management, product leadership, and the ability to connect diverse functional needs with technology-enabled solutions across a regional and global environment.

About You

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources, Technology, Data, or a related field.

• 5–8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Enterprise Applications, Technology Delivery, or related business partnering roles.

• Experience managing products or platforms supporting Finance, HR, Shared Services, Corporate Functions, or other enterprise business processes.

• Proven experience working in agile environments, managing backlogs, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery teams.

• Experience operating in regional or global organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and value delivery.

• Experience with enterprise platforms and ecosystems supporting Finance, HR, workflow, reporting, governance, and shared services.

• Familiarity with ERP, HRIS, planning, reporting, analytics, service management, document management, and integration platforms.

• Strong understanding of business process optimization, data quality, system integrations, user adoption, and change management principles.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Power BI, or comparable enterprise solutions.

• Ability to evaluate solution alternatives, dependencies, technical constraints, and business impacts to drive informed product decisions.

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

• Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex functional priorities across Finance, DBS, HR, and General Services.

• Proven ability to translate business needs into product strategies, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.

Language Requirements

• Fluent English required.

• Spanish preferred.
