You will lead the coordination of third‑party payroll system implementations and upgrades, managing these projects to keep us at the forefront of payroll technology. Interpreting pay policies will be a key part of your role – ensuring that vacation days, leaves of absence, disability, workers' compensation, and union contracts are harmoniously calculated and applied to the various accounts. Your knowledge of government regulations and withholding exemptions will be critical.

A compliance champion, you will stay up‑to‑date with ever‑changing federal and state payroll requirements, keeping us ahead of the law. Additionally, you will be involved in the off‑boarding process, working closely with former employees, labor unions, and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and seamless handling of all off‑boarding tasks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge about Payroll, Offboarding and Accounting Processes
• Experience with payroll programs and MS Office Suite
• High degree of professionalism and ability to communicate with various levels of management
• Good understanding of employment law, regulatory and legal compliance to meet country specific requirements
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills, sensitive to data and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business and Human Resources
• Previous experience in a similar role of at least 2‑3 years
• Basic knowledge in other HR processes such as Compensation, Benefit, Talent Acquisition etc.
