Job summary

Solvo Global in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable .NET/C# applications backed by PostgreSQL. You will contribute to system architecture, implement new features from concept to production, and write automated tests to ensure quality.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with distributed teams across time zones. Initial onsite work in Mexico City for 1–2 weeks, then remote with periodic onsite visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience building and supporting scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Strong written and verbal English (B2).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across time zones.
• Onsite in Mexico City for the first 1-2 weeks; then remote with occasional onsite attendance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions using .NET/C# and PostgreSQL.
• Build and implement new features from concept through production.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the technology stack.
