Job summary

UST is seeking a hands-on Senior .NET Developer to transform ambiguous problems into production-ready solutions. You will work independently and with teams across product, architecture, security, and operations, owning delivery from discovery through production support.

The role emphasizes designing reliable backend services with C#, modern .NET, and REST APIs, applying SOLID principles, and ensuring quality through automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with C# and modern .NET/.NET Core.
• Proven experience designing and developing web-based backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, SOLID principles, and cloud/platform exposure.

Responsibilities

• Take unclear requirements, identify real problems, surface risks, and propose a practical path forward.
• Own end-to-end delivery: discovery, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and maintain backend services and web APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core, REST, and JSON.
• Evaluate options, trade-offs on architecture, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Write automated tests and contribute to QA to cover negative and boundary cases.
• Perform code reviews, raise concerns early, and collaborate to resolve issues transparently.
