Epicor is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, refactor, and test Epicor Kinetic components that support manufacturing and supply chain. You will build reliable software using C# and the .NET stack, leveraging LINQ and Entity Framework for data access and business logic.

Role includes designing unit/integration tests, embedding quality early in the SDLC, and creating AI-enabled tools to automate repetitive tasks; you may integrate AI capabilities into existing solutions and participate

Formación

• 5 years of experience developing in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests and Integration Tests.
• Experience using Postman (or similar tools) for API development and testing.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and secure SDLC.
• Demonstrated experience applying Shift-Left methodologies and promoting quality throughout the SDLC.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and integrating AI capabilities into software solutions.
• Experience with Git and modern version control systems and collaboration workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, refactor, and test backend components for Epicor Kinetic, supporting manufacturing and supply chain.
• Build reliable, maintainable software using C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Work with LINQ and Entity Framework to implement business logic and data access.
• Design and maintain unit and integration tests as part of the development lifecycle.
• Apply a Shift-Left approach by embedding quality, testing, and automation early in the software development process.
• Create internal tools, assistants, or AI-enabled solutions to accelerate repetitive tasks.
• Integrate existing AI capabilities into software solutions without building models from scratch.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices.
