Jobtailor is seeking a senior LATAM Supply Planning leader to drive regional supply planning, inventory optimization, and supplier governance across LATAM. You will translate business requirements into actionable plans, define inventory policies, and optimize working capital while leading regional teams.

Core duties include developing scenarios for capacity and shortages, driving ERP adoption, and presenting strategic recommendations to regional leadership.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience with leadership responsibility.
• 3-5 years of people leadership or multi-country leadership experience.
• Experience leading S&OP/IBP, inventory optimization, and supplier management.
• Strong ERP and analytics capabilities, including SAP and Excel.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; travel across Latin America may be required.
• Master's degree preferred; Portuguese is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the LATAM supply planning process and balance supply against requirements.
• Develop scenarios and contingency plans for capacity and shortages.
• Translate requirements into actionable supply, purchasing, and inventory plans.
• Own supply plan attainment and inventory performance across LATAM.
• Define inventory policies including safety stock and reorder points.
• Optimize product availability while reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Lead regional purchasing execution and governance for finished goods and materials.
• Manage supplier performance and conduct reviews and corrective actions.
• Standardize regional supply planning, inventory management, and master data.
• Develop regional dashboards covering supply plan attainment and service levels.
• Drive ERP adoption and data discipline; lead automation and continuous improvement.
• Act as senior LATAM escalation point for supply constraints and capacity challenges.
• Present scenarios and recommendations to regional leadership.
• Lead and develop regional teams for planning, inventory, and sourcing.

• Lead the LATAM supply planning process and balance supply capabilities against approved business requirements and priorities


• Develop supply scenarios and contingency plans for capacity limitations, material shortages, and business variability


• Translate business requirements into actionable supply, purchasing, and inventory plans


• Own supply plan attainment and inventory performance across the LATAM region


• Define inventory policies and parameters, including safety stock, reorder points, target coverage, planning lead times, and service levels


• Optimize product availability and working capital while reducing excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and expiring inventory


• Lead supply continuity, constraint recovery, allocation decisions, new product introductions, phase-in, and phase-out planning


• Lead regional purchasing execution and governance for finished goods, materials, and supply-related services


• Manage supplier performance and conduct supplier performance reviews and corrective actions


• Standardize regional supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, master data, and supplier management processes


• Develop regional dashboards and analytics covering supply plan attainment, service levels, inventory, suppliers, and purchasing effectiveness


• Drive ERP, planning, and reporting tool adoption and data discipline


• Lead automation and continuous improvement initiatives


• Act as the senior LATAM escalation point for supply constraints, inventory risks, supplier performance issues, shortages, and capacity challenges


• Present supply scenarios, inventory strategies, risk assessments, and recommendations to regional leadership


• Lead, coach, and develop regional teams responsible for supply planning, inventory management, purchasing, and related supply chain activities


• Lead organizational change, capability building, succession planning, and talent development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field


• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience with significant leadership responsibility in supply planning, inventory management, purchasing, S&OP/IBP, and supplier performance management


• 3-5 years of people leadership or multi-country leadership experience within a regional or multinational organization


• Demonstrated experience leading supply planning organizations, S&OP/IBP processes, inventory optimization initiatives, purchasing operations, supplier performance management, and supply continuity programs


• Strong ERP and analytics capabilities, including SAP or comparable ERP systems, advanced Excel, planning tools, and business intelligence platforms


• Fluent in English and Spanish


• Availability to travel across Latin America as business needs require


• Master's degree preferred


• Portuguese is a strong advantage
