FactIQ is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Consultant to lead the design and implementation of advanced data-driven solutions in business-critical environments. This role blends technical excellence with a consulting mindset — ideal for professionals who can guide clients from strategy to deployment.

Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models using supervised and unsupervised techniques.
Own the full ML lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Translate complex business challenges into scalable ML strategies and technical architectures.
Advise both internal teams and clients on best practices for model governance, explainability, fairness, and compliance.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to data engineering and product teams throughout development and rollout phases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of advanced machine learning models using supervised and unsupervised techniques.
Own the full ML lifecycle: data exploration, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Translate complex business challenges into scalable ML strategies and technical architectures.
Advise both internal teams and clients on best practices for model governance, explainability, fairness, and compliance.
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to data engineering and product teams throughout development and rollout phases.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in machine learning or applied data science roles.
Strong expertise in ML algorithms and model optimization (regression, classification, clustering, time series, etc.).
Proven hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and architectures like CNNs, RNNs, or Transformers.
Proficiency in managing end-to-end ML pipelines, including retraining strategies and MLOps.
Advanced knowledge of Python, Scikit-learn, cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and/or Computer Vision.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in ML workflows.
Prior experience working in consulting environments or on cross-functional teams.
