A leading IT services firm is seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the modernization of existing applications. The role requires 6–10 years of Java/J2EE experience, proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices, and a strong background in software design principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and participate in the full software development lifecycle. Mentorship opportunities are available for junior developers. This contract position is based in Mexico.

Formación

• 6–10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience migrating systems from Struts 2.0 to modern architectures.
• Good understanding of software design principles, OOP, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the migration of legacy applications to modern frameworks.
• Design and maintain high-performance applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Collaborate with teams to define requirements and deliver software.
• Participate in the full SDLC from analysis to deployment.
• Ensure code quality through best practices.
• Mentor junior developers to improve team capabilities.
