Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is hiring a Senior Java Developer to deliver reliable Java backends and apply AI know-how to strengthen architecture decisions. You will develop Spring Boot microservices with REST APIs, SQL, CI/CD, unit testing, and NoSQL while operating across Microsoft Azure and AWS.

The role engages across teams to ensure scalable, robust solutions. Responsibilities include architectural input, peer reviews, defect analysis, mentoring, and documentation of architectural choices to support

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Solid Java Core knowledge and OOP practices.
• Hands-on Java 8 and Spring Boot for backend systems.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and SQL/NoSQL.
• Cloud familiarity: Azure and AWS; familiarity with CI/CD.
• Unit testing to ensure code quality and stability.
• English fluency at B2 level or higher, written and spoken.

Responsibilities
