A leading international automotive supplier in Tlaquepaque is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to develop advanced electronic architectures for automotive Power Electronics systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in hardware development, strong knowledge of automotive electronics design standards, and advanced English communication skills. This role involves defining hardware architecture, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in hardware development for automotive or related industries.
• Proven track record of participation in at least 2 complete hardware development projects.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electronics design standards and processes.
• Experience with BDC or BLDC motor control preferred.

Senior Hardware Engineer – Power Electronics

Location: Tlaquepaque, Mexico

Your Tasks

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be a core member of the project hardware team, responsible for defining and developing advanced electronic architectures for automotive Power Electronics systems. You will lead technical activities, ensure compliance with automotive standards, and provide guidance to junior engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and develop hardware architecture for power electronics applications in automotive systems.
• Elaborate Worst‑Case Analysis, DFMEA, and perform electronic circuit simulations to ensure design.
• Act as HW Core Team Member, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams (mechanical design, layout, software) to define PCB concepts and system integration.
• Plan, execute, and monitor hardware development activities across all phases of the automotive project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Serve as technical reviewer for hardware deliverables, ensuring compliance within internal and customer requirements.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• 7+ years of experience in hardware development for automotive or related industries.
• Proven track record of participation in at least 2 complete hardware development projects.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electronics design standards and processes.
• Experience with BDC or BLDC motor control preferred.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and team collaboration skills.
