Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to lead and execute cybersecurity risk engagements from Mexico. You will drive risk assessments against frameworks like NIST CSF and ISO 27001, develop incident response playbooks, and deliver client-focused reports and proposals.

You will collaborate with clients to enhance governance, risk, and compliance practices, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to internal methodologies, while building relationships and sharing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity risk advisory or related roles.
• Experience with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CMMC.
• Ability to lead engagements from scoping to delivery.
• Authorized to work in Mexico.
• Strong communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tabletop exercise engagements with client audiences.
• Plan, scope, execute and report cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Review controls against best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Develop Incident Response Plans and Playbooks.
• Create client reports, visuals, and presentations.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, and project plans.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Share thought leadership on the company blog.
• Engage in cybersecurity conferences.
