Job summary

General Mills Operations, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for Blended ESC FSQ / XQM Regional Auditor in Mexico City. You will drive food safety and quality across external manufacturing locations, serving as FSQ expert and regional auditor.

You will lead audits, manage risk, review documentation, partner with cross-functional teams, and travel up to 50% to support audits and supplier qualifications in the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years in Food Safety & Quality.
• 2
• Experience leading FSQ risk assessments, investigations and CAPA for significant events.
• HACCP/HARPC knowledge and regulatory requirements (FDA/USDA or equivalent).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to support audits and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as FSQ contact for ESC locations and manage FSQ risk.
• Lead FSQ audits for a defined region in alignment with policy and regulatory expectations.
• Review FSQ documentation and coach sites on corrective actions.
• Partner with global XQM peers to ensure consistent audit expectations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of FSQ tools and guidance.
