A leading consultancy firm in Veracruz, Xico is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead and develop secure, scalable applications. The role requires a strong proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, substantial Agile experience, and the ability to mentor junior developers. The position is full-time with flexibility for remote work and up to 40 hours a week.

Formación

• Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken).
• 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a technical leadership role.
• Strong front-end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in back-end technologies such as Java.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using tools like Jira and Slack.
• Proficient in working with APIs and microservices architecture.
• Leadership experience mentoring junior developers and guiding technical teams.
• Familiarity with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, CheckStyle).
• Experience with build tools like Gradle and Maven.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Proficiency with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., SNS / SQS, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
