Job summary

Delinea in Mexico City is hiring a senior front-end engineer to build cross-browser web extensions using React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS within a Scrum team. You will translate requirements into scalable client-side features and contribute to architectural decisions.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and optimize performance while staying current with front-end trends in a hybrid role three days per week at the Mexico City office.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency with React and its ecosystem (React Query, Hooks, Context, etc).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design and accessibility (ARIA).
• Experience building and maintaining browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox).
• Familiarity with REST back-end integration and common design patterns/SOLID.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack design and development for a cross-browser web extension using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with REST-based communication with back-end microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Implement and enforce coding standards and best practices (linting, testing, documentation).
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and development.
• Drive performance and optimization improvements across applications.
• Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, mentoring, and pair programming.
• Contribute to technical documentation for internal knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and improve stack/workflow.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to core technologies.
