Balloon Group in Mexico is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build a Next.js 16 (App Router) web app using React 19 and TypeScript, integrated with Contentful. You will shape frontend architecture within a Kubernetes-based microservices landscape and write production-ready code daily.

You will lead frontend standards, review code, collaborate with Backend, QA, DevOps and Product teams, and participate in client meetings to drive architectural decisions.

Formación

• Must have strong experience with React and Next.js (App Router) in production environments.
• Deep understanding of SSR, SSG, ISR, and hybrid rendering strategies.
• Expert-level TypeScript and modern frontend architecture design.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with distributed microservices ecosystems, including API contract awareness.
• Strong knowledge of frontend testing (Playwright, Jest).
• Ability to define and maintain architectural standards and lead technical decisions.
• Experience with headless CMS platforms – Contentful.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain high quality code and tests.
• Contribute to planning, grooming, estimation, technical design, and quality assurance.
• Maintain frontend architecture standards and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functional with Backend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
• Join client-facing meetings, drive architectural discussions.
