AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and maintain features in a large, modern Angular application, with opportunities to contribute to backend work and AI-assisted workflows.

You'll collaborate with UX and product teams to turn requirements into accessible, scalable frontend features, participate in code reviews, and engage with engineers across multiple product initiatives in a people‑first culture with flexible work options and USD‑based compensation.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience with modern Angular (not AngularJS).
• Strong frontend skills with production web apps.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic practical understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience working in a collaborative engineering team.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.

• Follow accessibility best practices and participate in accessibility reviews.
• Contribute to backend work when needed, working with the existing engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Work with AI development tools, primarily Claude.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple product initiatives.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience, specifically modern Angular rather than AngularJS.
• Strong frontend engineering skills and experience working on production web applications.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture and maintainable code.
• Basic, practical understanding of web accessibility.
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative engineering team.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US time zones.

NICE TO HAVES

• Strong hands‑on accessibility experience, including accessibility testing and remediation.
• Experience with Angular Material or similar UI component libraries.
• Experience with frontend build, bundling, or related tooling.
• Experience with PHP/Laravel or Python.
• Experience working with GCP.
• Experience with AI-native / agentic software development workflows.
• SaaS or EdTech experience.
