Roofr is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape and scale our web platform. You’ll own frontend architecture, contribute to the product roadmap, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality web applications.

You’ll thrive in an early‑stage, engineering‑first culture, ship code frequently, and mentor others while advocating best practices, testing, and robust documentation.

Formación

• 3+ years in Senior Engineer role.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Champion of agile methodologies and shipping code frequently.
• Break down complex problems into incremental solutions.
• Proactively proposes initiatives to improve engineering tech and culture.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow with the team.
• Ownership mindset and pride in quality of work.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Strong JavaScript experience with React + Redux.
• Experience with SCSS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Experience building frontend tests and automation for unit/integration/regression/UA tests.

What You’ll Get to Do

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• 3+ years of experience holding a Senior Engineering title
• Has 5+ years of software development experience
• Is a champion of agile methodologies, and enjoys shipping code often and confidently
• Has a track record of breaking down complex problems as incremental solutions
• Proactively recommends initiatives to improve our engineering technologies and culture
• Enjoys working in a collaborative environment where everyone helps each other grow
• Takes ownership of the product and is proud of the quality of their work
• Has excellent communication skills, and appreciates the value of good documentation
• Understands the challenges of early‑stage company priorities
• Strong experience with Javascript language & React + Redux framework
• Experience with SCSS
• Experience with interacting with RESTful APIs
• Experience building frontend testing and automation systems for unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance tests

Compensation

Our compensation ranges are built using multiple market benchmarks and reflect both the scope of the role and current market data. While many hires fall within the beginning to midpoint of the band to allow for growth over time, we tailor offers based on each candidate’s experience, seniority, and demonstrated impact.
