Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior EHS&S Technician (Ergonomics Focus) in Juárez, Mexico. The role centers on coordinating ergonomic, occupational health, and safety programs to reduce workplace risks and promote a healthy environment.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, HR, Medical Services, Quality and Maintenance to drive continuous improvement in ergonomics and health and safety performance. Incident investigations and risk reduction are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum high school diploma required.
• Experience with ergonomics, occupational health, and workplace safety.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and EHS standards is favored.

Responsibilities

• Administer Ergonomics, Occupational Safety, and ELSSA programs ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments using RULA/ROSA/REBA and other tools to identify hazards.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses; coordinate corrective actions.
• Support Fitness for Duty and Return-to-Work processes with Medical Services.
• Perform safety inspections, trainings, and promote a strong prevention culture.
• Document EHS metrics and work with teams to drive continuous improvement.
