Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico seeks a senior engineering leader to solve complex manufacturing challenges and drive breakthrough process and product improvements. You will lead cross-functional teams and develop fundamental knowledge with broad application while shaping the technology roadmap.

You will mentor mid/senior engineers, apply DOE and Lean methods, and deliver projects with significant financial impact for the division.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or applied science is required.
• Statistical training through Design of Experiments (DOE) is required.
• Lean fundamentals and leadership experience with financial impact.
• Demonstrated ability to permanently solve manufacturing issues.
• Experience leading new process/product/innovation projects.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high level problem solving for complex, broad issues.
• Coach/mentorin senior engineers and develop knowledge.
• Develop and protect fundamental knowledge with broad application.
• Lead diverse project teams across functions.
• Develop and execute large, high impact technical initiatives.
• Drive process simplification and improvements.
• Build strategic technical network inside and outside the company.
• Champion innovation and risk taking.
• Communicate vision to senior leaders.
