Responsibilities

• Has a long term vision in terms of business value to the customer, and the ability to understand and drive the problems that must be solved for the final goal to be realized
• Superior understanding of concepts and tools, able to apply them, recommend and drive concepts and tools

• Conducts software and hardware requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, and software acceptance reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent 5-8 years of experience
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development
• Experience with test-driven development
• Experience building frontend web applications using React, HTML, and CSS that match mockups/designs
• Experience working with GraphQL, Python, RESTful services, and microservices
• Experience building GraphQL services using Strawberry and/or Apollo
• Experience building Webpack configurations
• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Strong understanding of Web UI and UX design principles and programming patterns
• Experience writing code with consideration for security and performance
• Experience with ORM frameworks like Django
• Experience developing and managing web applications in AWS
• Experience managing infrastructure using Terraform or similar tools
• Experience integrating systems with SaaS solutions and 3rd-party APIs
• Experience analyzing logs to identify bugs and root causes
• Experience with Docker/containerization
