Aptiv is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Linux in Monterrey to design, develop, and maintain embedded edge platform software for automotive data logging and connectivity. You will work on Linux firmware, SoA middleware, OTA updates, security, and IoT services, while also mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a CS/CE degree and 5+ years of C++ embedded experience, with expertise in CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, MISRA, and agile processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years C++ software development experience.
• Proven ability to design, develop and debug complex embedded software.
• Experience with automotive serial data networking and protocols (CAN/CAN-FD, LIN).
• Proficient in Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with agile software development processes.
• Familiarity with MISRA or C++ Core Guidelines.
• Experience with service oriented software design.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and enhance Aptiv’s embedded edge platform software for data logging and uploading.
• Develop embedded Linux firmware, SoA middleware, OTA updates, data acquisition and IoT services.
• Contribute to edge computing and ADAS video processing software.
• Implement embedded security features including secure boot and hardware trust anchor integration.
• Bring up new hardware, including kernel and driver development.
• Investigate and resolve production issues across distributed systems.
• Mentor junior team developers.
