Kohler Co. in Juarez, Mexico is seeking a Senior Planner Buyer to manage raw materials and components, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely production in line with the master schedule.

You will optimize Kanban, MRP parameters, and cycle counts, coordinate shipments, and provide detailed material cost reports to help management make informed decisions. Preference for a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in materials purchasing or supply chain, with English language skills and ERP

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience in raw materials, purchasing, or supply chain.
• English spoken, inventory control and ERP experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate inventory levels, lead times, and lot sizes weekly to support production schedules.
• Maintain minimum healthy inventory while ensuring production has materials available.
• Define replenishment strategies (minimum-maximum, Kanban, or MRP) under supervision.
• Maintain daily planning spreadsheets linked to the master production schedule.
• Coordinate cycle counts to keep inventory data accurate.
• Ensure SAP purchase orders reflect material details, quantities, suppliers, and lead times.
• Adjust Kanban sizes and MRP in response to production changes.
• Facilitate just-in-time delivery to plants and manage outstanding orders with ETAs.
