Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to own and evolve the design tokens, modes and component libraries used across client sites. You will work hands-on in Figma and collaborate closely with a US-based team, delivering scalable systems that hand off cleanly to developers.

This is a full-time, in-house role with remote options for Latin America. You will oversee token architecture, ensure consistency across brands, and defend your system in live calls with

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a product, UI or design systems designer.
• Built a design system in Figma with variables, modes and tokens.
• Experience handing a system to developers and keeping Figma and code in sync.
• Full-time availability overlapping US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Token architecture in Figma: variables and modes from primitives to components.
• Create and maintain component libraries that scale across entire sites.
• Providehandoff and documentation enabling developers or build pipelines to implement the system without questions.
• Manage several client brands simultaneously using a unified underlying design system.
