Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Science Engineer to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strong analytical skills, expertise in data science, and robust engineering capabilities to design, build, and deploy production-ready machine learning and AI solutions at scale. This role is critical for transforming data insights into tangible business value through engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain robust ML/AI models and data pipelines in production environments.
• Develop, implement, and optimize data models and machine learning algorithms.
• Apply MLOps practices, including CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code, for model deployment.
• Analyze large datasets, identify key trends, and extract insights to drive business decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to transition models from prototypes to high-performance services.
• Communicate technical findings, model performance, and data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest AI/ML engineering tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (o experiencia laboral equivalente).
• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or data/ML engineering roles.
• Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python (incluyendo librerías de ML/DS).
• Strong hands‑on experience building and deploying scalable ML models and data pipelines in production.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and AI concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), particularly their ML/Data services.
• Advanced English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable

• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Knowledge of MLOps tools and frameworks (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow).
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices, including code review and Git workflows.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for model serving.
