Job summary

EXL in Mexico City is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using Snowflake, SQL, Python, DBT, and Airflow. The role enables data-driven decision making across the organization.

You will design data models, transform data with DBT, and develop workflows with Airflow, while collaborating with Analytics, BI, and Data Science teams to ensure data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience (data warehousing, optimization).
• Experience using DBT for transformations and modeling.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Build and manage data models and transformations using DBT.
