Job summary

Papigen in Mexico City seeks a Senior Data Engineer/Databricks Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise data pipelines and analytical datasets.

You will work with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, PostgreSQL and Azure DevOps to deliver reliable data ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting-ready data solutions. The role involves Medallion architecture and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT/Data Engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure Databricks notebooks, transformations, and pipelines.
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with ADLS and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) is a plus.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills.
