Siemens is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in a hybrid role based in Mexico. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and own data pipelines end-to-end from discovery to delivery.

Key tasks include designing robust data products, optimizing SQL transformations, building dbt models, and collaborating with global teams on data architecture and best practices. High emphasis on ownership and English communication.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced English for collaboration in a global environment.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership from concept to delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and data products.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL transformations for performance, scalability, and data quality.
• Build and maintain dbt models that enable trusted and reusable data assets.
• Own solutions end-to-end: requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with global teams and contribute to data architecture, automation, and engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity, documentation, and delivery.
