Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and automate security controls across the company’s tech stacks. You will own security platforms, lead cross‑functional collaboration, and drive adversarial thinking to strengthen defenses in enterprise and cloud environments.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering, strong cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), and scripting for automation.

Formación

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex security initiatives as an IC.
• Expertise across cloud security, IAM, or detection engineering.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Ability to write scripts for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and IR.
• Excellent communication and independent work capability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and implementation of security controls across apps, cloud, networks, endpoints.
• Own and evolve security platforms, tooling integration and lifecycle.
• Develop and automate security tooling, detection logic and workflows.
• Support incident response with technical analysis and remediation guidance.
• Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation strategies.
• Define secure engineering standards, architectures, and guardrails.
• Improve observability through logging, detection engineering, and monitoring.
