Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance EDA tools, automated design flows, and methodologies that support CMOS design and verification.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience applying software development, CAD, VLSI, or semiconductor engineering skills to design or automation challenges.
• Proficiency in programming and software development, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience using Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and workflow automation.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across engineering teams and learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing or applying AI and agentic AI solutions to engineering or automation workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and SKILL, particularly for engineering automation or design‑tool development.
• Knowledge of Very‑Large‑Scale Integration (VLSI), integrated circuit design, semiconductor design methodologies, or EDA tools.
• Experience with schematic capture, physical layout, simulation, verification, or related semiconductor design flows.
• Understanding of CMOS implementation tradeoffs, including area, performance, and power, with experience improving EDA flows or engineering infrastructure.
