KION is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our global cloud team. You will maintain cloud-based platforms and solutions for our clients focusing on Azure and Google Cloud from a cloud-first, multi-cloud environment.

You will work on automation to unlock the full potential of the cloud, collaborate with development teams to deploy services, monitor systems, and proactively drive improvements across Windows and Linux servers. English proficiency required, German a plus.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure required; GCP beneficial).
• Experience administering Windows or Linux servers.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and deployment (e.g., Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and all cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, CLI, Bash) and automation technologies.
• Experience with monitoring or log tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Azure Monitor) is a plus.
• Growth mindset and willingness to own and drive improvements.
• English C1/C2; German a plus.
• Experience working in global organizations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, operate, and improve Azure Cloud Environment to guarantee availability of systems and keep services running.
• Implement and deploy services into KION digital platforms with development teams.
• Monitor and analyze IT service failures and resolve them.
• Support product teams with cloud service expertise.
• Proactively drive self-initiated projects to improve efficiency.
• Administer and upgrade Windows and Linux servers.
• Develop skills in Google Cloud Platform to become SME in Azure and GCP long term.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and continuously improve KION Azure Cloud Environment to guarantee availability of systems & keep services running
• Implement and transport services into the KION Group's digital platforms in close cooperation with the development teams
• Monitor and analyze occurring failures (IT services, server, container etc.) in depth and solve them
• Support product teams with a knowledge of cloud services
• Act proactively by self-initiated projects and ensure efficiency
• Administer and provide upgrades to systems (Windows and Linux server)
• Develop technical skills in Google Cloud Platform to be the Subject Matter Expert in both Azure and Google Could Platform long term

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with infrastructure and services in public and private cloud environments (Azure is a must, GCP is beneficial)
• Experience in administration of Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment processes (e.g. Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines)
• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and all cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Experience in shell scripting (PowerShell, CLI, Bash) and state-of-the-art Cloud technologies for automation.
• Experience with monitoring or log aggregation tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Azure Monitor) is an advantage
• Growth mindset, self-organization, and interest in taking over ownership and bringing the team to the best solution
• English C1/C2 (German is a plus)
