hiberus is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer based in Mexico with 10+ years in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering. You will design, automate, and secure cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and OCI, using Terraform and IAM expertise to support multi-cloud operations.

The role involves configuring SSO, identity federation, and robust security practices, with strong scripting (Python/Bash) to automate tasks and support CI/CD processes in a dynamic team.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and OCI.
• Build secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, patching, access management, compliance, and remediation.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM across cloud and corporate environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO, authentication, authorization, identity federation, and user provisioning.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments with patching, hardening, monitoring.
• Implement cloud security best practices and least-privilege access models.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, performance, and availability issues, incl. incident RCAs.
• Support CI/CD, infrastructure monitoring, and cloud governance in multi-account/multi-cloud setups.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering. We need someone with strong hands‑on experience in AWS, Terraform, infrastructure automation, enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, and security.

This is a hands‑on engineering position focused on designing, implementing, automating, securing, and supporting cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Strong practical experience with AWS and Terraform is essential, along with expertise in systems administration, identity federation, access governance, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

Experience with at least one additional cloud platform beyond AWS is preferred. Above all... at hiberus, we believe in good people!

• Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and OCI.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and automation frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, access management, compliance, and remediation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise IAM solutions across cloud and corporate environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSO, authentication, authorization, identity federation, and user provisioning.
• Administer Linux and Windows environments, including system configuration, patching, hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement cloud security best practices, least‑privilege access models, secure networking, encryption, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, performance, and availability issues while participating in incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD practices, infrastructure monitoring, and cloud governance across multi‑account and multi‑cloud environments.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Strong production experience with AWS. Experience with GCP and/or OCI is preferred.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages for infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience with enterprise IAM and identity technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity, AWS IAM, and IAM Identity Center.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting SSO, federation, SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and authentication and authorization workflows.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, and TLS/SSL.
• Hands‑on experience administering Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Experience with cloud security, access governance, production troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A hands‑on and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and solve complex infrastructure challenges.

Experience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), centralized cloud landing zones, Kubernetes, Docker, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Ansible, and secrets management platforms is a plus.

AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, or AWS Security Specialty are also desirable.
